Since the Bernards Headquarters Blog is being introduced to half the Company tomorrow, I thought it would be fitting to provide an Ops Meeting Eve update. As Jeff will touch upon tomorrow, we currently are in the weeds of the tenant improvements and site work. Since the last post, decking has continued including the roof of the main conference room. The drywallers and insulators have been right on the heels of the deckers, and the framers are getting close to finishing. Here's the latest construction glossy's for your viewing pleasure!
The 15 foot high metal deck ceiling of the main conference room. The future "cloud" ceiling is framed below it, to be covered with wood paneling soon.
Drywall being taped at the Operations offices looking North towards Business Development.
The Accounting Neighborhood is beginning to take shape as the columns that will support the metal brace frames are now in place.
The recently installed metal deck ceiling at the future I.S. Department bullpen.
Site work has been progressing with the majority of the curb and gutter work complete, as well as the new ramp into the warehouse seen here.

Deck the Halls
We are excited as more of the spaces are beginning to be defined at the Headquarters. The framing is scheduled to be complete by the end of next week. We have begun the decking of the offices and have ran into our latest challenge of figuring out how the HVAC ducting will install in the decking. It is a tricky process as the deck is the finished product. Here are some more glamor shots to peruse.

Material Procurement
Superintendent, Mark Payton is charging forward at the Headquarters Project this week. The rest of the Team is doing anything we can to get the Subs and materials here and get out of his way. In fact the biggest challenge facing the Project is simply trying to get all the parts in time for him to install them with the aluminum storefront windows being our biggest concern at this point.
Some of the latest highlights:
The steel posts that will become the main conference room have been installed by Richwell Steel.
Some of Doug Electric's beautiful conduit work above the old main electrical room.
The framing that will eventually form the new main restrooms next to the Lobby as seen from the Mezzanine.
